Level I Inspection
$120.00 plus tax
A Level I inspection is the standard annual inspection recommended if you've made no changes to your appliance, and you plan to use it as you have in the past. Your Jamison technician will examine the appliance, its connections, and the readily accessible portions of the chimney exterior and interior, as well as verifying that the chimney is free of any obstruction or combustible deposits.

At the completion of the inspection, you'll receive a comprehensive overview of the technician's observations, and recommendations to repair problem areas, if any exist. We will also provide you with a complimentary flash drive (also known as a thumb drive) containing the digital video scan performed as part of the inspection process.

Level II Inspection
$295.00 plus tax
A Level II inspection is required when significant alterations are made to the system, such as changes in fuel type, after the addition of certain types of appliances, or after a reline. Level II inspections are also required upon the sale or transfer of a proerty, or after an event that is likely to have caused damage, such as an earthquake or storm. It includes all aspects of a Level I inspection, but broadens the scope to potentially include sections of the system in attics, crawl spaces or basement to address potential clearance issues.

At the completion of the inspection, you'll receive a comprehensive overview of the technician's observations, and recommendations to repair problem areas, if any exist. We will also provide you with a complimentary flash drive (also known as a thumb drive) containing the digital video scan performed as part of the inspection process.

Level III Inspection
Priced on a Time & Materials (T&M) Basis

Level III covers all areas inspected as part of a Level I and Level II inspection, but frequently requires cutting through masonry walls to access components or areas that otherwise would be inaccessible to the technician. Level III inspections are typically only carried out when serious hazards are suspected, require special tools for access, and are performed and priced on a T&M (Time and Materials) basis.

Level III inspections are unusual unless directly recommended by a safety inspector or other construction or insurance professional.
